The Wednesday night before Thanksgiving has evolved into a cultural phenomenon called “Thanksgiving Eve,” that has been become associated with drinking and a big night for bars. It is sometimes promoted on social media as “Drinksgiving,” “Danksgiving,” and “Blackout Wednesday.”
